Jay-Z will play his first Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation announced the booking Monday. Jay-Z has 25 Grammy Awards and has never performed at the game, though his company has produced its halftime show since 2019.
Roc Nation signed a five-year extension to keep producing the show through 2029. Since the company took over, halftime sets have leaned into hip-hop and rap. Last year's show at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, featured Bad Bunny, with Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin appearing as guests. The 2022 Los Angeles show featured Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar, with 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak in cameos. Later lineups have included Kendrick Lamar with SZA in 2025, Usher in 2024 and Rihanna in 2023.
Jay-Z toured this year for the 30th anniversary of his debut studio album, Reasonable Doubt, and the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint. The Jay-Z 30 Tour opened with three nights at Yankee Stadium in July, then two dates in London and one in Paris in September. His last scheduled shows were Oct. 23 and 24 at SoFi Stadium, the venue for the February game.
