The Dallas Cowboys are favored by 4.5 points in their Monday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. The total points line for the game is set at 44.5. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field on Monday, October 26.

The betting odds reflect a complex situation for the Eagles, who are currently 2-4 on the season. Jalen Hurts is out for the remainder of the year, leaving rookie Tanner McKee as the primary signal caller. The team has also cut Andy Dalton, who recently declined to re-sign, and the status of star running back Saquon Barkley remains uncertain as he recovers from injury.

Despite the roster issues, the Eagles hold the same record as the Cowboys. Dallas has remained healthy but has produced inconsistent results, including a recent loss to the Packers. The Cowboys have struggled to contain opposing offenses, a factor that betting analysts suggest could benefit Philadelphia in a potentially low-scoring affair.

Analysts point to the Eagles defense as a potential value play against the spread. The argument rests on the Cowboys' inability to stop opponents consistently this season. A 4.5 point margin is viewed as potentially too generous for a team facing a divisional rival in prime time, even if that rival is underperforming.

Player prop markets indicate expectations for specific offensive performers. Dameon Pierce, who served as the starter last week, is listed with an over of 15.5 rushing yards at odds of -112 on DraftKings. This line suggests sportsbooks anticipate a limited role for Barkley, leaving Pierce to handle a significant portion of the rushing load.

On the receiving side, CeeDee Lamb is available at an over of 78.5 receiving yards at -113 on FanDuel. This number is lower than at other books, reflecting recent adjustments in the market. Lamb has had a quiet stretch in the past two games but faces an Eagles secondary dealing with numerous injuries.

Tight ends are featured prominently in the anytime touchdown markets. Jake Ferguson of the Cowboys is listed at +255 on DraftKings, while Dallas Goedert of the Eagles is available at +180. Both players are viewed as primary targets in red zone situations, with Goedert considered the most reliable option in the Eagles' passing game under McKee's direction.
